Connections through Cooking: Kurdistan
Plan to join us on Saturday, April 21st, from 5 until 8 pm at the Catholic Pastoral Center (Door #5) for our newest production of Catholic Charities of Tennessee's Connections through Cooking. Our cultural theme this month is Kurdistan!
Word on the street is that the menu will include Chicken Kabobs with rice and tapsi! (Don't know what tapsi is? Then you definitely need to make your reservations today!)
Although food -- and delicious food at that! -- is very much a part of Connections through Cooking, a wonderful Kurdish meal -- the preparation of which will be overseen by one of our staff members who, as a Kurdish refugee, was resettled in Middle Tennessee by Catholic Charities of Tennessee! -- is not the only thing you will delight in. How about music, dance, and language, too!
Space is limited. ~ There is no charge to attend, but there will be a collection to cover the cost of food and supplies.
For more information or to reserve your seat(s) today, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
