Catholic Charities of Tennessee's Refugee and Immigration Services
provides a wide array of programs to help newly-arrived refugees acquire skills they need to acclimate to American culture and responsibilities. This position is extremely important to the resettlement effort, as it is the first step in ensuring that our clients feel welcome and safe in their new community.
When many of our clients arrive to the US, they come with little to no possessions, familiarity, or community; they should not have to arrive to an empty home as well.
As a Move-In Volunteer
, you help to assure that all our clients have dignifying home furnishings and a positive start to their new life. A brief orientation on refugee and immigration issues will be provided on site. This can be an individual or a group volunteer activity.

• Clean/tidy up the space
