Human Resources Manager

The primary functions of the Human Resources Manager is to lead and direct human resources functions, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits and leave, enforcing agency policies and practices, investigating concerns, and overseeing isciplinary actions. The HR Manager reports to the Operations Director, and also plays a special role in staffing the Tennessee Serves Neighbors department, with a dotted-line relationship to the County Program Expansion Director. The HR Manager will assist in timely and accurate quarterly and annual reporting according to the funder’s requirements, and must ensure that hiring policies and practices are in compliance with all contract requirements.

Refugee Benefits Eligibility Specialist

Primary function of the Refugee Benefits Eligibility Specialist is providing administrative support within the TOR department and to subgrantees to facilitate refugees’ access to benefits and services. Refugee Benefits Eligibility Specialist responds to inquiries from subgrantees regarding client eligibility; reviews and verifies submitted data; prepares authorization for program payrolls; compiles and creates reports for TOR, subgrantees, and stakeholders; and ensures compliance with all requirements outlined by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). Refugee Benefits Eligibility Specialist will promote coordination and planning among refugee service providers and assist in the creation of data collection and reporting systems.

Refugee Benefits Specialist

The Refugee Benefits Specialist will provide information and assistance to refugees, asylees, entrants, and foreign-born human trafficking victims for enrollment in the Tennessee Department of Human Services (DHS) benefits for which they are eligible; conduct community outreach among the immigrant communities to promote awareness of State benefits and eligibility requirements; create and provide training and assistance to DHS employees regarding these immigrant populations and their eligibility for benefits; and serve as the main point of contact for DHS and eligible clients for assistance, enrollment/re-enrollment, and problem-solving in regards to DHS benefits.

Program Coordinator - Refugee Youth

The Program Coordinator will assist the program manager in effective implementation of the afterschool and summer programs for school aged children.
