"He was moved by compassion. He bound up his wounds, set him on his mule, and brought him to an inn, where he paid the inn keeper and told him: take care of him and whatever more you spend I will, on my way back, repay you."

—Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan, in reply to the question, "Who is our neighbor?" Luke 10:33-35

Since 1962, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Nashville has been a beacon of love, hope, and healing, ministering to our neighbors in need.

Every day, we answer that call in many ways. Last year alone, we served over 25,000 individuals, offering:

Hot meals for those who are hungry
Emergency housing and financial assistance for families in crisis
Employment services to restore dignity and stability
Mentoring and counseling for those seeking a fresh start

Why Your Support Matters

We can’t do it alone. Our ministry relies on people of goodwill to share our cause. With eight locations across Middle Tennessee, our reach is broad and deep—and the need is ever-growing. Please join us to be the hands and feet of Christ.
