Christina Douglas, Clinical Therapist – Intern

Approach to Therapy: Integrative, Personalized, and Trauma Informed

She practices through a trauma informed perspective and believes that every individual is unique and has distinct needs. As an integrative therapist, she prioritizes building trust with her clients to determine the most effective way to assist them in their healing journey. Collaboratively, they will establish achievable goals and develop coping mechanisms to help them be successful. This can be done through many modalities, some of which she prefers to use, such as: Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Bibliotherapy, and Play Therapy.

She believes age should not be a barrier to seeking help on your path to recovery. She takes great satisfaction in working with a variety of clients, and particularly enjoy helping children and families.
