Catholic Charities depends on the generosity of people like yourself who want to make a difference through their giving. Bearer of Hope gifts typically start at $1,000 or more.

Bearers of Hope receive invitations to special Catholic Charities events as well as recognition in our annual report and on our website.

Legacy, Retirement Fund and Stock Gifts

A legacy gift allows you to support our mission and continue to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

The following language for a specific gift may be appropriate for your use:

I give and devise to Catholic Charities of Tennessee, Inc. (Tax ID #62-0679520) located in Nashville, TN, the sum of $_______________ (or specific asset(s)) to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific program or service area).

The following language for a residual gift (after your estate expenses and specific bequests have been paid) may be appropriate for your use:

I give and devise to Catholic Charities of Tennessee, Inc. (Tax ID #62-0679520) located in Nashville, TN, all (or state a percentage) of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific program or service area).
