Melinda Snader, Clinical Therapist, LMSW
Melinda attended the University of Tennessee and completed a Master of Science in Social Work with a certificate in Trauma Treatment. She specializes in working with individuals who have been impacted by traumatic experiences, including childhood trauma, sexual abuse, natural disasters, community and interpersonal violence, refugee resettlement, and housing instability, among others. Drawing on her training in Somatic and Attachment focused EMDR, Complex Trauma Treatment, Narrative-Focused Trauma Treatment, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Melinda seeks to attune to the unique experiences and strengths of each individual.
Melinda has over 25 years of experience working with children and families, providing her with a deep understanding of human development. Her initial career was as a pediatric occupational therapist. She has worked with faith-based and international development projects to support individual and community flourishing through holistic approaches to well-being that include physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Living overseas has given Melinda a broader cultural perspective on which to draw in working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
