Julie Bolles is an experienced Individual and Family therapist with Catholic Charities of Tennessee. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Julie has 28 years of experience in the field of Social Work.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in an ecological perspective, acknowledging the profound impact of an individual’s entire environment on their health and wellbeing. Julie works with a diverse clientele, ranging from late teens to seniors, recognizing the unique needs and challenges each age group presents.
Spirituality holds significant importance in Julie’s practice as she believes it is inherent in all individuals and can serve as a source of strength, hope, and guidance. She integrates this spiritual dimension where appropriate into her therapy sessions, offering clients a foundation from which to navigate their challenges and find meaning and purpose.
Julie is well-versed in various treatment modalities and issues, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Complex Trauma, Somatic- Based Interventions, Narrative Therapy and she is working on her certification in Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy, This diverse toolkit allows her to tailor her approach to the specific needs and preferences of each client, fostering a supportive and effective therapeutic environment.
